Mining in So. Oregon

Dear visitors,
Jim and I were very close friends so I've created this site in remembrance of him.  He will always be in my heart as a friend, partner and my mentor. We spent nearly 250 trips to S. Oregon on the road together to go mining.  Between trips we talked nearly every day, sometimes multiple times each day planning our next trip, sharing our dreams and goals for the next time south.  His loss is very large and it won't be the same without him.  Jim would no doubt want the trips to continue and they will.  In memory of him, we will always have him in our heart.  A plaque is to me made in his memory for each of the cabins.  He was in his total element just being there.  Finding gold was the goal, but it was the process of the hunt we enjoyed together so much.  The friendship we had together was phenominal and will never be forgotten.
